Overview
Ad Avails is a number that represents ad impressions a site has available for particular placement(s). This number is aggregated by the ad server by taking into consideration multiple factors like historical data, seasonality, traffic patterns, and many more. Please keep in mind that this number is not 100% accurate and it serves to give a general overview.
It is a good practice to reach out to the trafficking team with an Avails request, which can be submitted using this form, or as a backup channel - using the template below sent to trafficking@freestar.io, to understand the available inventory before negotiating and signing an IO.
Best Practices
To ensure prompt service, please follow our Best Practices:
- Submit your requests using this form, for a better service and visibility.
- Add one business day to the turnaround times mentioned above before any US holiday.
- If you are using the backup channel for communication, send each request in a separate email.
- Utilize clear subject lines, including your name, the request, and the advertiser.
- Example: "Your Name - Trafficking Request - Best Invest Q2 2025"
- Send inventory and trafficking requests separately.
- Use key-value pairs to optimize page-level and slot-level targeting; instructions here.
- While you wait for creative assets or tags, send the requirements early so Freestar can prepare the campaign and reserve the inventory.
