Understanding "Multi-Placement" Campaigns
A multi-placement campaign is a more complex campaign where multiple portions of your site's inventory are negotiated. Each portion is called a "Placement." A multi-placement campaign can contain two or more placements. For instance, it might include a Run-of-Site (ROS) placement, a video placement, and sponsored content running on specific articles, among many other possibilities.
How to Submit a Multi-Placement Campaign
To submit a Multi-placement campaign, follow these steps using the trafficking form:
- Select "I want to submit a campaign."
- Use a clear subject line that includes the domain where the campaign will run.
- For "Type of the campaign," select "Direct Campaign." (If it's a different deal type, choose the correct one, and the form will guide you further.)
- When asked "Is this a single or multi-line items campaign?" select "Multi-line item campaign."
- You'll need to describe the campaign parameters in a template we've prepared for this scenario. You can access it here. Please navigate to the "Multiple Trafficking Requests" section at the bottom of the article.
- Once you've populated the template, return to the submission form, attach it, and submit your request.
