About Freestar's Ad Stack
Freestar built its ad stack using Prebid.js and the Google Publisher Tag library to work with Google Ad Manager (GAM).
Our pre-configured adapters are production-ready for immediate integration, and we offer a range of configuration options to seamlessly incorporate your unique bidding strategies into Freestar's setup.
Other GAM instances will cause ad-loading issues and impact revenue. If you have different GAM instances or Prebid.js on your site, please remove them. This includes other ad networks' code you may be using.

Ad Tag Creation
Freestar's yield experts will advise on the best ad units for your site, considering factors like layout, placement, and revenue potential. You'll have the final say on ad placement.
Freestar will create your ad tags and email you when you can download them from the Freestar Dashboard.

Testing Freestar's Ad Code
Freestar recommends installing the ad code within a development environment or a low-traffic production page. After installation, contact your Freestar Point of Contact for QA testing to resolve issues before pushing the code to your production site.

When to Push Live
After testing the code in a development environment, speak with your Freestar Point of Contact to set a launch date. For quality assurance, please do not launch before the agreed-upon date.

Freestar enables the following features by default:
Refresh Rate
Freestar's default in-view refresh rate is 30 seconds. Following the launch, Freestar will monitor performance to determine opportunities for further optimization.
Ad Block Recovery
Freestar Recovered is an intuitive, self-configuration tool designed to help publishers optimize ad revenue. Our solution empowers you to control the conversation with adblock users, all at no cost to you. Please visit our product page for more information and FAQs about Freestar Recovered.

Freestar enables the following ad units by default:
Sticky Footer
A sticky footer ad adheres to the bottom of the viewport, providing a non-intrusive, highly visible ad placement. By default, Freestar enables this unit with video and display demand. Because of its high viewability, this combination provides a significant revenue uplift. Only one demand type is visible at a time and will alternate as the user navigates the site. Interstitial
Another highly viewable ad unit, the interstitial, will be auto-injected by adding our code on the page. Google designed this unit to offer users a clean ad experience since this has a frequency cap to combat UX interruptions. For more information about the Interstitial, go here.
